Brustia started producing shoe making machinery in 1957, and over the years has specialized in heel nailing/heel attaching machines in a complete series for lasting (machines for pulling over and lasting, heel seat-side lasting, heel seat lasting machines). More recently, through our subsidiary Alfameccanica, the production line has been completed with the backpart moulding machine.

Seventy percent of the production, about 500 machines per year in various models, is destined for export throughout the whole world. Brustia can be found in all the major shoe companies in the main markets like China, Japan,Korea, Taiwan and Indonesia.

The component machine parts are made using the most up-to-date technology. This allows complete production control and guarantees to the client excellent quality of both machine and its single parts.

The experience gained with over forty years trading and the production of thousands of pieces, which are universally recognised as completely reliable, have allowed Brustia Spa to obtain the leading position in the shoe machinery sector.

The machines supplied by Brustia throughout the world have the backing of our customer assistance service, personnel training, technical advice and access to a network of specialized operators.

The production philosophy is based on the elements of simplicity and long life as well as the ability to add new pieces.

This last fact allows an increase in features and power of the working models to meet different and changing requirements. Even the most basic machines have evolved over time into more sophisticated versions through the addition of extra equipment. Machines produced by Brustia Spa can be adapted for different types of work; men or women, high quality or heavy work etc; by the substitution of a few pieces of equipment.

The whole production process conforms to the "machine directive" requirements enforced by the EU, and comes into line with the safety norms proposed for the single family machines.
