SHORT NOTEMonastery
The monastery was built in 1641 by Agnese Riberia, a Vigevano noblewoman that donated it to the Carmelite nuns. In 1805 the Dominican nuns were forced to leave their nunnery by Napoleon's restrictions. In 1879 it was transformed into an Orphanage. Now it belongs to the Municipality and is a civil residence.
